In-School Programs

El Centro de Estudiantes offers several opportunities for extracurricular student engagement both in and out of school time. Below is a list of our current in-school programs.

Uplift offers in-school grieving groups for students who have experienced a loss of a close relative or friend to homicide, overdose, or other.

Women Against Abuse offers healthy relationship workshops to all students through interactive activities and evidence-based curriculum.

GALAEI provides a safe and affirming space for youth to be coached through issues related to sexual health, education, employment, conflict resolution, and trauma.

ELECT offers supportive services to expecting or already-parenting teen mothers and fathers to help them as students achieve their highest potential personally and academically.

Making Healthy Decisions is an education intervention program for adolescent girls ages 14-19. This intervention compares the effectiveness of two programs designed to teach adolescent girls about healthy decision making.

Adolescent Intervention Model (AIM) Program supports students who have been directly affected/made vulnerable by the opioid epidemic.

In addition to the above programs, hot breakfasts and lunch are served each day, as well as an on-site "clothing-closet," a program that provides free donated clothes to students in need.
